Anyway, Nigerian singer D'Banj, has been featured on the Mercury website as an official artist. The Afrotainer joins the likes of Neyo. Rihanna, Bon Jovi and lots more who're already signed to the UK label.
With his own VEVO channel ready to be used, everything seems to be happening really fast for the 'Oliver Twist' crooner.
From devouring a whole chicken with Mr Hudson and now this? Hmmmmm I'm still on the fence with this one. D'Banj and Don Jazzy were like tequila and lime, a match made in musical heaven. D'Banj would come up with some of the cheeky lyrics and Don Jazzy would come up with the unique beats to go with them. Would Mercury understand our African star? Only time will tell.
